Starbucks - Hayes

"We found the Faircloth site management team and their in-house subcontractors a pleasure to work with".

Josh Rowley - Urban Edge

Working alongside the Potter Raper Partnership and Savills, on behalf of Deutsche Asset Management, Faircloth Construction  successfully delivered this overhauled Starbucks pod design concept.

Steel framed, with an external rain screen cladding system fixed to internal stud and plasterboard walls, the unit has been constructed with a green living roof. This has the benefit of improving storm water management by reducing the run-off, conserving energy, reducing noise and air pollution and increasing urban diversity. This resulted in the building receiving LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.

The project also called for car park reconfigurations to facilitate the build, as well as the installation of the new drive thru lane for the unit and associated lighting works.

  • "Working on a pod unit that is the first of its kind in the UK, with an untested specification was a challenging task, but Faircloth worked very well throughout the project with Urban Edge to deliver a high quality building on time and budget"
