Faircloth were asked to undertake the construction of a dual level car park within the grounds of Frimley Hospital adding 134 car parking spaces.
Working closely with hospital management to minimise impact upon the running of the hospital, the project took extensive planning from construction methods to the delivery of materials and parking of staffs.
A full design and build contract was undertaken and executed successfully to a high standard. Constructed in steel and precast concrete, the car park provides the much needed additional hospital parking required. The site was very compact with a system of extensive underground electrical cables and drainage. Extreme care and coordination were paramount when laying the foundations as not to disturb the services serving the hospital.
