Safestore, Watford
This project was for the construction of the new 17,500sq ft self-storage shell unit in Watford as part of the £500 million Watford Riverwell regeneration project. Our works included the sheet piling, structural frame, external envelope, roofing, cladding, external doors and many others.
Sustainability was a key focus of the development with the site targeting a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating. We also oversaw the integration of renewable energy solutions, such as PV panels as well as energy-efficient construction materials to reduce the building carbon footprint and operational costs. The scheme will also achieve a 14.3% net gain in biodiversity, contributing to the area’s green infrastructure.
