Client - Motorsport Vision. The construction of the Chequered Flag restaurant incorporated a steel frame which allowed for speed of construction and for one elevation to be fully glazed for viewing purposes. Internally the building included a fully equipped kitchen, large dining area, meeting rooms, executive toilets and further toilets for the paddock area. The overall result was a functional and economical building that was instantly popular with the users of the circuit. The project also included improvement to the infrastructure of the circuit by the design and installation of a complete sewage treatment plant, a new water main, electric sub stations and feeds, and the distribution of data and communications. |
