The design and build project was for the construction of a specialist store facility to house expensive tooling at Moss Plastics' main manufacturing site.  The project was unusual in that it required the store to be fire proofed with a four hour fire integrity rating. The store contains 350 sq m of pre-fabricated concrete columns and a concrete slab designed to take high loadings from racking. The precast concrete sections were manufactured ‘in-house' by Faircloth's subsidiary company Atcost. Atcost's concrete is tough, highly durable and fire and corrosion resistant making it ideal for the design brief.
